The Park's New Festival - Essays by Roopa Mahadevan and Ensemble
Curated by: Prakriti Foundation

Come join us as Roopa Mahadevan and her team of musicians seek to connect and express. Through arrangements that borrow from classical, jazz, and soul idioms, they insist on a commitment to a musical thought while surrendering to the beauty of the present. The fluxes of joy, sadness, surprise, and intrigue find their way into a music that is at home in many continents and in an untimely space of past and future. Essays is about being human. Celebrating, that we are always becoming.

Vocals: Roopa Mahadevan
Violin: Anjna Swaminathan
Piano: Guy Mintus
Percussion: Rohan Krishnamurthy

Curated by Prakriti Foundation and presented by The Park Hotel in association with The Centrum Group and G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture.
