Can boys love pink? Can girls be superheroes? Can boys be homemakers? Can girls spend more time playing sports?
Kids grow up with a very narrow definition of what it means to be a boy or a girl. Join us for a bit of gender bending as we demonstrate through theatre, art and story telling the importance of gender equality.
A 1.5 hour – fun-filled, parent - child workshop, conducted by television and theatre actor Shivani Tanksale and sex & gender expert Gauravi Lobo from Mpower. For children aged 7 to 9 years.
Ice-breaker session to be conducted by Shivani Tanksale
'Put yourself in my chair' conducted by Gauravi – Role playing meets musical chairs in a game that encourages kids to play act different kinds of professions irrespective of them being boys and girls.
'Build your own human' conducted by Gauravi – A collage making and storytelling activity with the parent and child.
Narration of novel ‘Boy in the dress’ by David Williams by Shivani Tanksale.
Donor Passes at Rs. 500 for the child and parent.
